The night earlier, dozens of decomposing bodies were found piled up in un-refrigerated rental trucks outside the facility’s floor. Mayor Bill de Blasio called the situation “absolutely unacceptable.”

“They said, within two weeks they would have my mother buried,” said one distressed woman. “This is too much on humanity. I’m really hurt.”
